As I'm sitting here, bored, reading up on stuff, I hear "turbo-charged, all wheel drive" on World's Wildest Police Chases on FX so I turn around and this guy is in a sweet car chase. I guess he purposely got a cop to chase him and he floored it, doing 140 on straightaways and 120 around the curves. lol. The cops were losing him, so this other cop shows up in his "police Mustang 5.0" and the guy is on his a$$. The Talon keeps running from him and is doing all kinds of crazy (yet sweet) things like cutting people off and brake-checking them, causing the cops to nearly hit them. lol. They said he had run from cops numerous times.
Anyways, the guy in the Talon hits a bunch of curves and starts to gun it when he hits another straight road and his engine started missing and eventually gave out on him. The 5.0 spun the guy out and they caught him bla bla bla. I was just thinking, "If that was a Toyota or a Subaru, that guy would have gotten away." lol. Cops must be thanking Chrysler and Mitsu for making engines with shxtty reliability. It looked like the guy lived in his car too... It should have had a "trailer park tuner" sticker. lol. ***In no way, shape, or form, do I think trailer parks are bad places to live. You just can tell when a car came from the trailer park. lol. In the one around town, there are 17 Celicas... only one is a 7th gen. No 6th gens, and it was divided even between 4th and 5th gens.*** Pointless rambling -------------------- 1987 Celica ST (RIP) 1st car too

I just wanted to give you guys my $0.02.
If I were given a choice between the 3sgte and the 4G63, I would go with the 4G63 because it has better aftermarket support BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY the bottom end on a 4G63 is more robust and is capable of 450+ HP before you have to upgrade internals. The only thing you have to watch out for on the 4G63 is the bolt pattern on the block. Make sure it's a sixer otherwise you'll face crankwalk. Besides this, the 4G63 IS INCREDIBLY ROBUST. |
