Hi Folks,

Bought a new CD player for the car to replace this twin combo JDM Pioneer twin system (Radio/cassette and Graphic EQ), which was basically pants as in the UK the FM band is broader (?).

The resulting hole is huge in my central console. Do you know if Toyota (in the UK) do anything like blanking audio plates or (better still) some kind of replacement adaptor kit for new players as it looks really pants. (I was thinking of sticking a spindle across it and sticking a bog roll in it and using it as a bog roll dispenser it is so cr@p looking....lol).

At the moment the player is wired up and loose as I need something as the original brackets are wierd and is just dumped in this hole on my dash and looks really sad.

Any suggestions?

The stock just tape player, not double din cd/tape came with a little box under the radio. From the dealer its $25, what I was quoted. The brackets from the side of your stock radio should screw into the after market radio on top and the box screws into the bottom half...

edit: thats in US dollars and from the US dealer
