[B][I]WHY DO JDM HIGHS AND LOWS NOT MEET D.O.T SAFTY REGULATIONS? ACCORDING TO JEFF AT TOYOTA WORLD WHO I GOT MINE FROM, THE ONLY REASON THEY ARE ILLEAGAL IS THAT THEY DO NOT MEET D.O.T STANDARDS AND ARE MEANT FOR OFF ROAD OR SHOW USE ONLY. Y IS THAT?

Because in order for them to be DOT approved they would have to hhave been offered in the U.S. to go through their regulations. Also, projectors are angled for RHD celicas which makes the beam shoot the opposite way of regular u.s. cars. That's dangerous
