Hey, i'm repainting my car, and i cant figure out how to take out the molding on both passenger and drivers side windows, the triangle corner ones. i've taken off the panels and whats holding in the window is some type of apoxy, and there's some plugs on the inside part of the window that look useless. Also i'm wondering if any of you that have painted your car think its worth the trouble taking it off, or if you think i should just nicely mask it?.

I don't know the exact answer but I think the trim is attached to the window. My side window was cracked from some dumb kids and when I got a new one after my paint job the window wasn't tinted. So I think you have to take out the whole window and the trim together. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
