Ok, after searching and not coming up with anything clear cut:

What are the factory soundsystem setups, I.E. head unit combinations, speaker setups, amps??, speaker sizes, ect.

I'm mainly trying to figure out what exactly I have in my 99 GT so I can rip them out and throw in better things. I plan to stick with the stock size and throw a sub in the back (probably a single 12, not sure yet).

I have what looks to be component speakers in the front doors, but I haven't taken a close look at the rear side speakers yet.

Can I get some guidance please?? biggrin.gif Usually crutchfield is pretty good about showing what's in there, but it blew chunks this time.

Well.....

I'm probably going to just use a 6 3/4" component in the front doors because of availability.

The rear is going to be getting a set of Infinity Kappa 6 1/2"S (6 3/4") out of my Trans Am. This is the three way coaxial with the crossover with the tweeter coming through the center of the speaker through the woofer cone. I had this in my original sail panel factory sub location in the T/A with the woofer hooked up ONLY, but didn't like how it distorted because of the design. So I'm picking up a set of 6 3/4" woofers from an Alpine set of components for $25 and putting those in to the Trans Am, and I'm putting the Infinity speakers into the Celi! Kinda hooked myself up!

What I'd LIKE to see in the back of the Celi is a single 12" Infinity Perfect dual coil subwoofer taking power from an Alpine V12 amp. We shall see though.
