well i finally have a system in my car again (got stolen last november), and i have my ipod hooked into my aux input on my HU... i drilled a whole in that little pocket below the heater controls, and ran the cable up through that... my ipod just chills laying down pressed up against the arm rest... kinda want a different setup cuz i dont like the wire going around my shifter... how do you people have this setup?

I thought about that, but my ash tray is my coin holder!!

What I'm going to do when I get a new head unit is bring the wire forward through the little slot under the CD Player so I can just slide the iPod in there. Oh yeah, I'll have an iPod ready head unit too, so I won't need immediate access to the iPod itself.

Will my stock headunit (10640-34 Type 2) have RCA inputs? I would like to connect my ipod using a Nyko iPod stereo Link. As it's neat & simple, offers a better sound quality,and it's cheap.
