YO, I am having a problem with openning my trunk. Here is the situation.
Key fits in lock. But, will not open when turned. The trunk mechanism will not release. Also, the cable release next to fuel release lever was broken off by previous owner. So, can't use that feature. Is there any other way to open trunk so I can try to see what the problem is? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks! for the info. It really helped. I finally got the trunk open using pliers and interior cable. I found the problem was a corroded lock. All the teeth were shot. Now I need to get a new lock and key. Know any places, dealers that sell them? And, hopefully not that expensive. Thanks again |
