there is supposed to be a button right above the drivers side air vent what is it?

I put my neon switch there, just drilled it out, poped the switch in, it fit great 2. Ill post a pic..
 i put my alarm LED on the bottom pannel under the steering colum. I think that the lil plastic peice ur talkin about is perfect for a switch. |
