OMG, my friend that I haven't spoken to in forever because of some stupid money argument just stopped by. The thing is, I provoked him to race me the last day of school. He didn't really want to but his buddies were with him and were kind of instigating the whole thing. By the way, he has one of those 300ZX Twin Turbos. Lol. Anyway, it was kind of a joke, the whole race. He spanked the crap out of me. The Celi lost by like 12 cars. Lol. My car's automatic, if it makes a difference. Lol. So he kept going, had to turn and crashed into a fence and into a ditch next to the Expressway. He lost control. So I had to pay $100 to tow him out of the ditch cuz he had an expired tag and no insurance so he was gonna be ****ed. Plus I felt guilty. So he was a good friend, I paid it for him and told me he would pay me back. Never did. Went away to college. Things went bad for him. He came back down to Miami and just surprisingly came by. He promised to pay me back and we patched things up.
Now for the story. He came with some old stick shift jeep. So I told him I didn't know how to drive stick. I know ALL the theory behind manual. But I never actually drove it physically. So I got in that bad boy and it didn't turn off on me! It did the first time but that's cuz I didn't know the e-brake was on so it was hard to give it enough gas. Lol. And it was dark as **** so I couldn't see anything. But I got the hang of it. It was easy and it didn't turn off after that. I drove up to 3rd gear in my small neighborhood. I did reverse also. I know all you people that have driven stick are like "what are you so happy about, kid?" But I'm 18 and I can't believe I've been missing out on the fun these past 3 years of driving. Crrrazy! How this relates to my Celica? Well now I want my 4A-GZE even more and I can't wait to do my swap because I'm dieing to drive stick shift again and my auto is boring to me now. Lol. Stick shift rocks! Woooooooooooooooo! That was so much fun. One more time for Stick shift Celica's wooooooooooooo! O yeah, and my friend told me the clutch was a little worn on the jeep and he was surprised i got the hang of it that quick considering it was night time, i couldnt see **** and the clutch was worn out. he said that he'll let me drive the 300 on monday when he gets it back. I can't wait! He said it's easier. Lol. We'll see. Woooooo. -------------------- |

Rich most americans can't parallel park much less drive a stick. I had to learn to drive one in a '93 Escort wagon, then I learned to drag with one in a modded '99 S-10.
