ok i forgot Water Injection...
sorry but i don't agree with you... i've done my research and made some good test... first thing is to choose a good turbo... which will be used in his optimum range... TD06 is a good choice... or maybe an HKS GT2835R... it won't be too lagy and won't charge with hot air as it'll be used in his optimum range... i'm thinking about 1.4/1.5b @ low RPM and slowly decrease boost until 1.2b @ the redline... the car should be really usable this way on track and staying reliable as long as possible... i'm not a dreamer, i won't do 100.000 kms with this setting... for week end driving 1.2b all the way are more than enough... and i don't use my car every day... FMIC would be a plus but in my opinion not absolutly needed... i may made one if i see too hot air... Magic: yes i'd love a ball bearing turbo like the HKS one... but didn't find a good turbo kit using it... or i'd have to make it myself... i'm really confident... good tuning is the key... |

1.2Bar boost won't give you 400bhp. I'm running 16.2 psi and am only just seeing 300bhp @ flywheel. You'll probably need at least 22 - 24psi to see 400 horses with the right mods. If you can get 400bhp with those minimum mods you mention and just 1.2Bar at the top end, then when I'm in France over xmas, I'll buy you as much alcohol as you can drink in a year!
