Manny (presure2) and I put in an oil cooler today. I know it is close to useless on an n/a engine but we had nothing better to do in the 95 degree heat.
my reasons why... 1 the 5s/3s have them stock (water to oil), and the euro STs have them stock (air to oil), so why not do it to mine. 2 oil is the life blood of the engine, I want to take care of it. 3 if/when I do decide to swap (probably Silvertop) it will be a nice add on. comments ? -------------------- |

QUOTE(LewFX @ Aug 12, 2005 - 12:07 AM) how much was it and how easy was it to put in It really wasn't too hard to install, it was just difficult for me to figure out which parts/fittings to get (major thanks to Manny for helping me pick out the right parts). We went with 1/2 inch fittings/hoses but probably could of done 3/8 instead. All together it was about $175ish + a new (larger) oil filter. I can put together a parts list later. -------------------- |
