Thx very much for the comments guys...
i'm planning to add a C One front lip to my bumper and i think it'll be all done to the exterior... this car still need some good dampers as i sometimes use it for trackdays ..... i love to kick the Subaru's owner butt... it also need at least a real good turbo and a Power FC ecu to finish it as i want it... i'm planning no less than 400 fwhp... or i'll stop it right now if one of you give me a good price for it... You'll need a bit more than just a turbo and Power FC to acheive 400bhp @ wheels Nice looking Four though I'm not keen on the bonnet being a different colour to the rets of the car. Gary i'll prove you i don't need so much more... to achieve 400 hp @ the flywheel (what i wrote ) i just need: 1 Power FC 1 TD06 20G or equivalent 4 800cc injectors 1 upgrated fuel pump that's all i want to change... |

Okay, so I misread your 'fwhp' quote, but you still ain't going to achieve 400 with just that. You'll need cams, properly gas flowed head, forged pistons, ARP head studs, stronger head gasket and , as stated above, a FMIC. WAI is only really good for around 350bhp at the most. Okay, you can stick on a great big turbo and wind the boost up, but it won't be really driveable. Full boost at 4500rpm or above coming on like a switch isn't much use I suggest you do a bit more research before dreaming about reaching such power outputs. I'm planning forged pistons, cams, flowed head, Apexi ECU, water injection, etc and realistically expect to see around 350 - 370bhp at the very most. Gary Afraid the man is right. 400bhp is not going to be cheap. My spec is a rebuilt engine with forgies, decent tubby (probably a Fensport Garett hybrid), Motec ECU, uprated fuelling, HKS cams and a good FMIC. Not forgetting of course the twin plate clutch and all the other varius ancilleries that come with a car in that state of tune. Go for it my friend, but go with your eyes wide open. 400bhp on stock internals will not last long at all. -------------------- JDM ST205
Blitz Spec NUR Exhaust, somewhere over $1000 Needing another one 18000 miles later, bloody annoying. |
