Well, I have been here in P.R. since the first of August. I had the intercooler piping redone and got a Magnaflow exhaust which is quieter and prettier than the Focuz one. I have been boosting 12 PSI all the time trying to break the engine but so far, so good. EGTs don't get high, there is no detonation...hell...it smokes those 17" rims like they're butter. I am very happy with how the car feels...for being automatic. Even at 25% throttle, off the line it'll pull very hard and you can hear the turbo suck like a Hoover vac. I haven't had time to take it to the dyno for a tune, so I know it has more potential. With the bigger, better I/C piping (last one was restrictive and not mandrel bent), the turbo surprisingly spools quicker and the BOV sounds way louder...it hurts the ears inside the car at just 5 PSI. At 12, it's too loud and I have had people curse at me and give me the one finger salute on the road...it's awesome, hehe. I still have to install the new struts and the stock springs back on...the roads are too bad here. Anyway, I am trying to get a battery for my camcorder so I can record some footage before I leave this Monday. Well, miss you guys...talk to you soon when I get back to Virginia! =)
Ramon PS: I will post pics of the car shortly! -------------------- |
