As of monday 8-22-05 My car is still stranded. I am only getting spark to one wire(3rd cylinder).
I switched that wire with the other ones to make sure the wires were good, and they are. A new cap and rotor didn't do anything but oddly now only the 4th cylinder gets spark. I tested the coil and I get 0 resistance between the primary coil when I should be getting some. A test to the secondary coil shows the proper reading. Look slike I am going to have to replace the coil. Does anybody know if there compaitable between 94-99? How about 5th gen? I am curious if there the same since its obd vs obd2. is there a fuel pump safety cut-off on our cars? if so check in the trunk area some cars go into safety mode when you run outta gas, also when you turn the key to "on" can you hear the pump prime? if not its probably in safe mode.
