Do you guys inform your insurance company when you swapped your engine? If so how much increase did it go up by?

well this is quite an arguement...turbo cars usually cost more than non turbo but according to your vin its still a non turboed car. and from what i know that is what insurance goes by. not color not anything else. just the vin and your driving record.

so technically they can not raise your insurance to make you pay for a car that you dont have or cant even buy in the U.S.

thats my take on things.

Yah they go by VIN...and with that in mind...they aren't going to insure something for more than what it's worth correct?
