I don't get the whole pollution thing, let's compare imports to police cars and see who causes more pollution. (These are stock specs, remember police vehicles are modded also)
1997 Celicas: 7.9 tons per year (2.2) 6 tons per year (1.8) 1999 Civic Si: 6.2 tons per year 1995 MR2 Turbo: 8.2 tons per year 1998 Eclipse GSX: 8.0 tons per year 2002 Crown Victoria: 9.5 tons per year 2003 Chevy Impala: 8.3 tons per year 2003 Chevy Tahoe: 12.1 tons per year 2001 Chevy Camaro: 9.1 tons per year Now remember that yes imports can be modded, but most police vehicles aren't stock either. BTW let's not forget that factories can easily put out more pollution in one week than all the vehicles on the road combined do in a month. ![]() Thank you California for reminding us that our government is a load of hypocrites. |
