Do you guys inform your insurance company when you swapped your engine? If so how much increase did it go up by?

don't know about other states, but here in louisiana, insurance doesn't go by color. I talked to my friend's dad thats an insurance salesman and he says its not true. It's power of car, theft rate, and how much it cost to repair. Toyota has high theft rate and parts are expensive thats y we are charged more than a ford.
