a lot of people here do a lot of engine mods, exterior mods and even swaps... so, to all those out there who have engine work or exterior mods or engine swaps, did you tell your insurance company?
if you did tell, did you have to go on a special policy (ie hot rodders insurance for swapped engines, or increased premiums for exterior/engine work?) or have any of you been in an accident involving insurance, where you didn't tell them about your mods? did they pay for the claim? or were you black listed after? I didnt tell them I had a turbo/any mods before my accident. I have a 96' GT with normal/loaded features. Thats what they knew, because thats what they asked for
When the guy came and looked at it, he could see the body kit etc, obviously, but didnt even mention the motor. He was more concerned with the body, as thats all that needed repaired. THis happened in may, and I still havent completely closed the claim. I got a little less than I think I should have, but thats changing slowly. -------------------- If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.
