a lot of people here do a lot of engine mods, exterior mods and even swaps... so, to all those out there who have engine work or exterior mods or engine swaps, did you tell your insurance company?
if you did tell, did you have to go on a special policy (ie hot rodders insurance for swapped engines, or increased premiums for exterior/engine work?) or have any of you been in an accident involving insurance, where you didn't tell them about your mods? did they pay for the claim? or were you black listed after? o. because someone i know who works @ an insurance company says exterior mods such as body kits or engine work such as turbo or swaps that don't get recorded, can get you in deep **** if you get in an accident, and then they black list you... i guess it just depends on the insurance company and the guy doing the evaluation
