ok guys......
more info soon, (i'm short of time today) but friday night street racing put a 205 up against an skyline GT R 2.5 ! (both stock) and in a straight the GT 4 took the liner by a good two car lenghts i raced, but missed a gear change but pulled back two car lenghts over 250m against the GT R i was racing........... the skylines are not all they crack up to be with out big money put in to them ! keep the dream alive....... yes, true, but now how does a fully stripped out CRX with a mad modded engine truely show up a stock GTR? As i always say, compare apples to apples... You can mod out lots of cars to destroy stock competition, but the true test is how great you can compare two fully kitted out examples and then compare their racing pedigree... In all fairness, 1/4 mi. is only part of the equation in a true sporting machine... remove the slicks, and in a roadcourse, that super fast 1/4 mi CRX becomes a super finnikey unaccomplished car in comparison to that stock GTR, possibly even a GT-S... The GT-R is a true all around acomplished piece of atristic machinery in any version's day, wether it be the 32, 33, or 34...
