I got my new issue of car and driver today in the mail, and it has official pics of the new civic si and other models. First things first, nice exterior styling on all the cars. the windshield on the coupes has a massive rake, at 21.9 degrees... Looks cool. Performance wise, 197 hp at 7800, 139 lb at 6200- good for 0-60 in approx 7.3 seconds (the car comes in at 2900 lbs)... The "interesting" part is the interior... All I have to say is digital spedometer... the main guage face is a large oval shaped tach, with warning lights to both the left and right, all housed in a squarish shape. Above that, in a narrow and long protruding curve, is a digital spedometer, and what looks to be a digital fuel display, and c/d says also an upshift warning light... If your thinking S2000 style, its not nearly as pleasing... I have yet to see it in person, but from the pictures, I say odd, slightly ugly, and above all to me, tacky... My interest in the car has diminished somewhat...

Looks ugly to me, and cramped. Especially that engine bay. And at 2900lbs I dunno about handling, but its pretty excessive, so its probably got a lot of extra "features" all over the car that lead me to wonder about how well balanced it is. It would be a fun car to cruise in though, thats for sure. Just gotta kill that spoiler
