LOL! Kanye West is the most ignorant person alive. Hurricane Katrina and it's effect on the New Orleans area is simply the largest national disaster that the United States has ever dealt with. It is not solely decided by the president who is sent to help in these situations. Most of it is handled by FEMA. The Director of FEMA is the one that has made the mistakes if anyone has.
Does West realize the scope of this disaster? The hurricane was the size of Florida for God's sake. This simple-minded person cannot even begin to comprehend the resources that will be required for the relief efforts.
To say that the media portrays blacks in a negative way is dumb. If you see someone coming out of a store with a cart full of electronics when there isn't even any electricity they are going to be labeled as looters. Bags of shoes and clothes are not essential to survival either. It's not the media's fault that they are out there in the middle of the day knowingly robbing stores while cameras catch their every move. New Orleans has a very high African American population which, whether he wants to believe or not, is for the most part poverty stricken. Of course they'll be out there looting. It's like Christmas in the Fukcing ghetto.
And before anyone starts in about how they censored his comments from the West coast Re-broadcast and how it's a violation of his free speech (large debate on a local radio station). You have to think about the networks liability. Free speech doesn't even apply to network television. The networks owners and sponsors have final say over what is allowed to be aired.

Heres a lil tid bit. Know what the **** your talking about before you open your ignorant ass mouth. First ignorant statement was "Kanye west is the most ignorant person alive." Sorry, you take the cake there. He's spitting the truth. It was BLATANT how reports picked out white ppl and put them up on a pedestal and said the black people were "looting." It was right there for EVERYONE to see. So its not DUMB. Its the cold hard truth and for you to even try to deny the disrespect minorities get you my friend are the most ignorant person. The argument isnt whether people are looting or not, that happens. The problem is that the media was blatantly and igorantly racist. There were just as many white people looting as black, but because they were white they were "looking for food."

Heres another tid bit of info: BUSH CUT FEMA FUNDING!!!!!! Bush was the one who appointed the new leader of FEMA. A guy who has NO emergency experience. Bush is the one wanted to give them about 3 billion out of the 20 billion they requested to fix the levys that were known to be too weak for a category 3 or more hurricane which was on the list of 3 worst things that could happen to the US which was presented to him in 2001. What was the other 2? A large earthquake in LA and a terrorist attach in NYC. Woops Bush disregards all of it and what happens. We got screwed 2 times by this damn president and we can thank everyone who voted for this idiot. Bush was golfing the day the disaster started, how bout you go and you watch the interview with a govenor from Louisiana and you watch him break down in tears about absolutely nobody is helping down there. I swear to god im so angry at this administration and ignorant people who have no idea how badly the people are suffeeing and have no idea what President Bush did to help create this disaster.

So maybe you donate some money to make up for this stupid ass statement and STFU the rest of the day!

Do you live in New Orleans? Are you there now? Did you see with your own 2 eyes and count on your fingers and toes exactly how many white people you saw looting compared to the number of black people? I didn't think so. You've been watching the same TV as everyone else. So stop talking out your ass! Obviously there are more black people left in New Orleans, look at the people at the superdome and the people being bussed all over the country... black, so Obviously you'll see more of them looting and chances are they will be labled as such. So you're trying to tell me it's bushes fault we had a hurricane? It's Bushes fault terrorists crashed two planes into the WTC. There is a little phrase that I like to hear occasionaly... Sh!t happens. If we're going to be shifting blame all day let's shift it to the people that built the levys in the first place. Why didn't they do it right the first time? If Bush is responsible for 9/11 then so is every passenger on those flights since they didn't do something about it.
