QUOTE(d-roCk @ Sep 15, 2005 - 12:00 AM) im planning to get one of these but i've heard that on some of them when the car is in motion the dvd player can't be used is there a way to bypass that? or are there some good models that don't do this? I know that if you get installed somewhere, BY LAW, they have to make it so you can't watch it while driving. On a manual transmission, they hook it to the e-brake, so it only works when the e-brake is engaged, you have to give that wire coming out of the DVD player constant + or ground (don't take my word, test your wires with a multimeter) so the DVD Player will think the E-brake is always engaged. Not sure how to do it on an auto. -------------------- |
