Thanks to Doug and rjb23 for experimenting with other short shifters (Doug-EVO and rjb23-7th gen). I recieved mine (7th gen about $45 on ebay) and installed. It took about 1.5 hours from start to finish. I downloaded the instructions from TWMs website and read the ones in the how to articles.
I have to say the throw is much much shorter and about 1-2 inches lower than stock. My finger are kinda close to the dash but I think it is because I only used 2 of the 4 spacers (the back 2) plus I have big hands. I will put some pics up when I put the other 2 spacers in. Finally I got to installing my shifter and ... disaster - the plastic assembly in my Celi is very much different from the one in the installation manual or on your pictures. E.g. I have two pins on the side (not one) and the small metal rod goes through the stick (not through some plastics around the stick).
Why is my shifter assembly different, any idea? European version? -------------------- '94 ST202 - tuned, highly apprieciated, but sold.
