Hey guys I'm replacing the timing belt, and according to the manual when the hole in the crank pully is at 0 the marks on the cam shaft pulleys should be at the 12 o clock position. But the book I have is for a 91 USDM alltrac. Well at 0 the cam pulleys are at about 10 o'clock and if I turn it another revolution, the pulleys are at about 3 or 4 o clock.

Can my timing be this far off? Should I just reset them?

Well it looks like its in time when I go by the key in the crank, and the marks on the cam sprockets. So I think I'm good.

On a side note when I took the valve cover off everything looked really good for an engine that has been sitting for a while.

Also guys who have 3's who do you get your oil filter off, it looks like its gonna be hard.
