Hey guys I'm replacing the timing belt, and according to the manual when the hole in the crank pully is at 0 the marks on the cam shaft pulleys should be at the 12 o clock position. But the book I have is for a 91 USDM alltrac. Well at 0 the cam pulleys are at about 10 o'clock and if I turn it another revolution, the pulleys are at about 3 or 4 o clock.

Can my timing be this far off? Should I just reset them?

I figured it out, everything has to be 12 o'clock. Go by the key in the crank not the mark on the pulley.

For anyone doing the timing belt on these you better have a vise to compress the timing belt tensioner or it is impossible to get the the it back on.
