QUOTE(macavely @ Sep 28, 2005 - 11:57 PM) haven't looked at the link yet... but i know know that the frist cars where steam powered.. and they where every efficent ... so a car running on water is an extreamly old idea.. steam powered engines worked because of the HEAT, not because the hot gas is water based. Water is not combustable fellas. If you could run an engine on water, don't you think the car companies would have made it work by now? Some day hydrogen cars will be here and perhaps they will be able to extract the hydrogen from water. Don't get your hopes up about being able to do it in your back yard with a tin can and a 2x4. -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |
