Hey guys, I recently bought a smaller nitrous kit that is a 35 shot. I installed it on my Celica, after a full tune-up, 98 octane gas, and oil change...I decided to try it out. Well, the first few runs with it were decent, but honestly nothing to brag about. I then bumped it up to the 50 shot nozzle, refilled the bottle, ready to go. The gain was noticeable for sure, definitely helped...but now I have a tick in my engine. Granted it's got 144k on it, but this is just kind of a warning I guess from me that even with the full tuneup, properly maintained and high octane gas...stuff still can go wrong even when only putting in a 50 shot. I have uninstalled the kit today and plan to sell it to a friend who has an Eclipse turbo. I don't even know why I tried this, I have a WRX that is plenty fast...and now a daily driver that has an engine tick. Be careful guys.

so a wet shot didnt help u out huh? usually adding fuel with the no2 and retarded timing works fine 50shot is nothin my friend and i ran 75shot for a while on his 3000gt wiht a weak rod bearing and it held up to the nos just not the redlines we put it to on the track, finally broke down so now its running .80" over ROSS pistons and pauter rods. anyways just curious if the nitrous did it or the motor had a weak spot that just came out when u added power? dont go straight to blaming it we all know once you upgrade parts you ALWAYS find the next weakest link.
