ok.. i'm in the process of buying a car from florida to bring to toronto.. what is the best company to contact to ship a car to the border and then to my house?

please include the name of the company and cost...

things to consider would be reliability (can you trust their word about delivery date estimate and such...

safety (ie how they treat their shipments and would anything happen to the car on the way, and if it does would they cover it)

and cost. (it doesn't have to be the most expensive and it doesn't have to be the cheapest either... although a cheaper solution would be better.)

so with all these in mind.. do you have any suggestions?

edit: i just checked out a company called Hansen's forwarding. I got a quote from them. $1483.92CDN including fuel surcharge. approx 6days delivery. but that is on an open carrier... and it doesn't say how much for an enclosed one

does anyone else have other places they'd recommend which i could compare?

Ur gonna have to change ur gauge cluster, when you do that ur gonna have to get ur comp reset. But w/e. You say there r no decent celis up here, but ive seen plenty.

Uhh you're wrong. My car is from Massechusets(sp?) and yeah... unless it's an Ontario thing, i sure have not had to change my guage cluster. Actually, after it came from the states, it went to ontario first for the safeties, and then to manitoba, i've still got my original guage cluster. There weren't any issues at all about the safeties, the only thing my car doesn't have is a block heater, they just had to put in drl.
