alright, so here's the deal. i just bought this car about a week ago for my fiance and had some ignition problems. i've replaced the internal coil on the distributor, the rotor, , distributor cap, wires, and plugs. i managed to get the car back to running order and everythign was fine till i decided to clean the engine bay, like i do on eveyr one of my other cars... i didn't bother to tie off the distributor since i just sealed everything up nice and tight, same with the fuse box. everything is more than waterproof now. but, as soon as i sprayed a degreaser in the vacinity between the distributor and the starter, the car shut off and blew the AM2 30amp fuse. i finished cleaning the engine bay and let it dry for 2 days, went out there and replaced the 30 amp fuse and it cranked over twice and blew the fuse again. what could be the problem. i have 3 days to figure this problem out and get the car onthe road for a 10 hour drive for my fiance and myself to go back home to meet the folks. i also have midterms all this week, so help would be greatly appreciated. thanks for everything.
for general information, it is a 94 Celica GT, 2200 engine, timing belt replace 3000 miles ago, 121,000 mile on the odo. -------------------- 94 Black Celica GT, Auto, 5th gen mirrors that's all...
