Hey guys, I recently bought a smaller nitrous kit that is a 35 shot. I installed it on my Celica, after a full tune-up, 98 octane gas, and oil change...I decided to try it out. Well, the first few runs with it were decent, but honestly nothing to brag about. I then bumped it up to the 50 shot nozzle, refilled the bottle, ready to go. The gain was noticeable for sure, definitely helped...but now I have a tick in my engine. Granted it's got 144k on it, but this is just kind of a warning I guess from me that even with the full tuneup, properly maintained and high octane gas...stuff still can go wrong even when only putting in a 50 shot. I have uninstalled the kit today and plan to sell it to a friend who has an Eclipse turbo. I don't even know why I tried this, I have a WRX that is plenty fast...and now a daily driver that has an engine tick. Be careful guys.
