i was looking at moding my ecu. i was thinking of using jet or like a new venom 400. i was looking for some peoples views on this and what they think. any post would help me out.

If I was thinking about modifications that included anything other than the stock ECU I wouldn't limit my research to information from people on this website. There are very few people here that have successfully used either chipped ECU's, ROM tunes, piggy backs, or stand alones. Readers beware.

[right][snapback]343754[/snapback][/right] So far nothing is as hard as repairing your ECU by hand! The unit itself is delicate and the wires are solder onto the board. The hardest part is picking off which capaciter has exploded or is leaking. I just had to have this nasty experience cause I couldn't find a working 4age ECU fast enough. Don't upgrade your chip cause its a pain in da as. |
