QUOTE(frosty @ Oct 12, 2005 - 7:55 PM) plus alot won't sponsor unless your car is already pretty hawt. I believe they look for "attention getters." Not exactly, yes you have to have a clean and nice car but you don't necessarily need to be an all out "attention getter." As long as that company feels they will be promoted in a good fashion and will get the advertising they will sponsor you. And either way a sponsorship is good whether (sp) it be a partial sponsorship or a full sponsorship. I personally perfer the full sponsorships and turn down most partial sponsors. But at the same time I have gone through alot of work to acquire these sponsors. Not only in the work done to my car but with making a proposal and sending it to the companies as well as checking up on the process (just like a job application). It's isn't as simple as asking a company and they say yes, which alot of people think it is. There is a good mount of dedication and responsibility that goes into be sponsored. You also have to prove your self to the companies so they know they can trust you to promote thei products and give them a good name. Okay I'm done now....sorry for all the writing.... Later, Christina |
