My rear mounting bolt has gone bad and I need to replace it. Is there any way to do it other than removing the whole engine out of the car and then replacing it?
Any suggestions would be great.

Yeah..... ummm I noticed that too! The mount didn't want to come out no matter what I did. Therefore, I figured THE GOD DAM MOUNT WON'T COME OUT!!! Unless you take out the engine, tranny, and everything then have a go at it. SHEESH! The mount on the tranny that sits on top of that makes it so, that its impossible to take out the rear tranny mount. I got tired, so I just bolted everything back on and left the engine as it is with a broken /  torn rear motor mount. At least it's still in place and kinda holding. Looks like it won't go for a while.  mad.gif  mad.gif  mad.gif

If your really having problems, there's two things you can do. One, is to take off the tranny mount under the air intake so the engine can move more and you can maybe get it out. The second, is to grind off one of the bolts on the mount. This isn't favorable, but if you haff to get it out, it's must be done. It's better to have a mount that works with one less bolt than a mount that doesn't work. I suggest grinding the one that's under the circular part of the mount. The other two can be removed. The one under the circle is the only one you can't take out. Get it off there and fill it with urithane, put it back in, and you'll be set. Good luck, and don't give up.
