I'm doing workstudy at school and I sometimes help out with a really smart technician. He uses this original stuff called castrol X. Its supposed to be the very first synt. from castrol. Its actually green Motor OIL! GREEN! This stuff is actually 0W30!!!!! He has like 74 bottles at home and is hogging it all too himself!

Makes me jealouse tho, but as he says, its not very good for engines that are running on VVT and vtech systems. Cause this stuff is like water, and cleans out the engine like bleach. This stuff actually eats all the debris and gunk build up inside the engines. The thing with VVt is that the cam advance won't work cause it isn't thick enough to be shot through the engine like normal oil can do.

Syntech is is awesome, but very expensive. I would just stick to normal, oil to save money, but I'll go with syn. cause I drive really hard too. tongue.gif
