My dad said that Dyno-Mat is overpriced car scene influence wall deadener. My dad has been a Carpenter for my whole life haha. and he used this stuff from home depot that cost half the price and its exactly the same as dynomat. if not better. we used it in my brothers conversion 2003 GMC Astro, and its awesome.
we just used contact cement and the home depot crap. if anyone is at all interested ill get the accuall name of it from him tonight and reply on here. just a thought This post has been edited by kman2010: Sep 29, 2005 - 8:18 AM |

the only thing that rattles in my car (i did a bunch of soundproofing with rubber-foam) is the liftback shock (the piece where the licence plate goes), and actually under the trunk, as in outside the car. And i can't find it. Probably a mount for the gas tank or something. Next time you guys have your subs going, get under the rear of your car and see if you have the same problem

I had the whole damn thing apart just to screw things down, and the bumper off, i still couldn't find it. I did find however, a lot of the outside rattleing is coming from one of my licence plate lights. There are two, and the right one is being held in place, but the left one, i can move with my fingers (like the bracket holding the light), and when i push on it, almost 90% of rattling from my car goes away. -------------------- The most important lesson I learned from Karate-Dō Kyōshan – “You can not be what you do not believe you are” |

yeah i put a piece of cardboard under the left light as mine was also loose and i only found out that wasnt it. and i don't think its the spare tire cover because my box is bolted down to it and i can put my ear right up to it on the outside and hear it but never find it. when the hatch is open it all dissapears. -------------------- My car = 0-60 in ~9sec
