QUOTE(soulshadow @ Oct 20, 2005 - 1:52 AM) ummm, can someone explain the concept of wheel locking up?? wat exatcly does it do? and how do u unlcok the wheels? when you stomp on the brakes and hold the pedal down, the wheels "lock up" or stop moving, and you create a skid. To "unlock" the brakes, take your foot off the pedal. as for the topic, removing the actuator unit under the hood wouldn't be so difficult. Just unbolt and disconnect sensors (also one for each wheel), although there are fluid lines that go through it (so you would have to bypass the actuator and reconnect the lines). The ABS ECU is under the CC unit (on the floor) with 2 harnessess, 1 with 16 pins and the other with 26 pins. (the ABS and the SRS systems are seperate from the main ECU). Search & destroy and good luck. -------------------- |
