Do Celicas have Timing Belts?

Every 75k miles.
If it breaks on our cars it won't hurt anything are engines are made so that if the timing belt breaks the pistons will not hit the valves. It will just be a pain to get in time again, but not that bad. This post has been edited by Rjb23: Oct 20, 2005 - 10:40 PM |

[right][snapback]347217[/snapback][/right] correct, both the 5s and 7a are listed as non-interference engines in that the crankshaft and camshaft can be rotated independently from each other without worry of contact. recommended interval for replacement is 60000 miles as i found in chiltons. -------------------- I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem.
