Baiicly yeah, its not easy to get that much hp. but lowing springs a sway bars are not gana get you any closer, wile they are pretty good mods if you want to take turns a big quicker.

anyway I love how everyone just beats down on the electronic turbo, calling it bs. now I'm not gana argue with you guys because I know there not the best thing to do, there is nothing like putting a real turbo on, however this is my problem and why a e-turbo might not be a bad idea.

I'm a computer technition currently working with Microsoft, It is extreamly important that my car start up everyday and get me to work and wherever work takes me, I have the money and the ability to do a 3sgte swap witch I was planning on doing to the point where I had a shop in like, and a st185 clip with my name on it not far from me, the porblem is that I just cant have my car out for the month or so it would take to have it put in right, I called tons of car rental places but they will not rent me a car as I'm under 21, its the same thing with trying to put a turbo in, I just cant have my car unreliable, witch doing this kind of wokr would cause it to be, an electronic turbo doea not pooduse enough boost (1-2 psi max) for it to cause harm to the motor, and its not hard to regulate the battery power to run one, (my amp sux more power then that thing would, so turning off the emp to run it is my option witch solves the power issure (witch is where most people dont do there reasurtch thinking it would take everything you have to spin a little blade like the old e-turbos did)) not the basic rule with psi is that for every 1 psi you'l gain about 10 hp however so if you push 7 psi (basicly the max semi safe psi the 5s can run with) you'll gain 70 hp, making the motor put out about 190-200 (obviously you would have to make the other systems like fuel and spark match up in order to handel it) now with pushing 2 psi your stock fuel injectors pump, etc will do just fine because you just making it easyer on your motor to get the air in needs though making more hp, however when the turbo is off, unless you put a bypass in to open up the intake you will be restricting the air flow (making your motor spinn the e-turbo) giving it less air and less hp. this is a common problem when people supercharge a turbocharged car. but anyway, your not gana gain massive hp from this mod but for the money its not bad, I man a cat-back is like $400 and your gana guain what 7 hp? or an CAI witch would get you maybe 5 hp average (unless you live in alaska where the air outside is frozen) its all about doing it right like any mod there are not quick tricks to get you big hp, you have to invest time in understanding how it works, I'll show you a system I came up with for this mod if you want.

anyway I've rambled on enough, The big problem with our cars is not that the motors avalible in the us for it are crappy low hp economy motors its that there is no aftermarket of stuff, just a few things here and there, we have to come up with things on our own and use some trial and error methods as I'm shure many of us have done, with is why we all respect people like Presure2, nik and all the others who have really brocken ground on what mods can be done to get real gains.
