Alright i have the st205 motor...and im gonna stick with my gt trans but im definately going to get a new clutch/flywheel...here comes the dumb question....so do i get upgrades for the 3sgte clutch/flywheel or 5sfe style?? I would think 5sfe but would that even make that big of a difference since im gonna be pushin 250 horse? Thanks

IMO I wouldn't use a GT tranny with a st205 3s-gte. It is too weak. I would find a cheap MR-2 tranny and use it. Ask RJB23 about his tranny and pricing

Stick with the GT tranny, if your milage is low it will hold up fine.
You're gonna need a hybrid clutch kit, if you are going to keep the GT tranny.
Get all the correct mounts, and take your time do the swap right.

Google Spec clutchs and flywheels, they can make you a custom hybrid kit.
I'm running a stage 3 kit with no problems at all. Lagos is also running a stage 3 kit using a GT tranny.

EDIT: I know of guys using the GT tranny, they are beating the hell out of it. It takes the abuse just fine wink.gif
