okay booyz.....lets get togeather here and solve this problem. I own a 94 st...i'll be doing a 5s swap in a few months or so. After that comes the turbo....shooting for 200whp or so. When thats all said and done im looking to drop in a 6 speed box. I dont want any honda out there to have a chance!
soooo....i was talking to my cousin and he said he didnt know of one that would fit...he said there is one for the gts corolla...also the matrix comes with one. Is there a known way to get any of these to work? Does any one else make a complete aftermarket box? I take this very seriously and i am willing to spend 1000 or so on this...i think it would be well worth it. What you guys got for me? |

A 6 speed transmission isn't going to transform your car. It'll give you a much lower gear for highway cruising, however then you're left with 5 other shorter gears where cars with longer gears could, potentially, out-pull your car by not having to shift as frequently.
Personally I would focus on using this money you want to use on the 6spd towards an even better, more powerful and reliable motor setup with your standard 5spd transmission. You'll probably be happier this way. ![]() -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |
