Well everyone I think my Celica is going to either be traded in, fixed, or I might just get a new car.
![]() If I were to describe it it's like the sound that a roller coaster makes when it's pulling you up the first hill. I took it into 'Yota' on Sat. and left it there for the wknd and I just got word from a family friend that works in the garage that 'Yota' is going to tell me I need a new engine. My friend that works there told me that his friend has an engine he could sell me for $800-$1200 with 60k on it. I believe it's just a 7afe though. ![]() I'm waiting on Toyota to call me back, so we'll see what they diagnosed. What do you all think? Is it finally time to move on and get a new car? Possibly an IS300 or a Saab Aero. ![]() I know everyone is going to say get a 3sgte right?! This post has been edited by CelicaQT: Oct 31, 2005 - 10:40 AM |

Im guessing your bearings went out. mine was like that. If you want it back, fast on the road and cheap. Get another 7afe engine and just drop it in. A 3s or a 4a will consume a lot of time and money to get it to run right, wired right and run fine with all the stuff you had on your stock car. Another car, will only cost you more and what would you do with ur dead car?
