Lmao. I just got home from some hangout and my friend has a Nissan Sentra SE-R SPEC-V. Nice car but it's kinda ugly. But whatever. My question is in general, not just about the Sentra but this is something I want to avoid when I get the new engine in the Celi... Backfire. This guy got a brand new engine and the exhaust sounds okay. Not too ricey. But when he revs real high it backfires real nasty and you hear all these pop sounds. Lol. It's pretty funny. What does the backfiring come from. Is it due to something with the engine? If so, what is it?

cars run ritch from the factory in the upper rpms and thats what causes the poping you hear. normally with a small exhaust, facotory cats, resonator, muffler, you dont hear any of this.
take a look at a stock srt4s exhaust one day. they only have one resonator and no muffler, and that produces a nice poping exhaust sound for that car. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned
