I love having only one cup in the cupholder, than when I break the cupholder slides out to show both cupholders

I had to do it to my '95. I really don't see myself writing up a how to for that but all you have to do is build up a little superglue in layers at a time over the now worn down bumps on the sliding cupholder part. The bumps are how they lock onto the corresponding bumps on the center console peice. You may have to build them up a little too. I did and it worked great until I sold the car 2 years later.
