Tomorrow I'm going to check out the 4A-GZE clip that I want. I've read a lot about the swap and the swap in other cars too. I have a question aboutt the wiring. How does that work? If I get the engine with an uncut harness... Would I have to rewire everything else in the car as far as the cluster and a/c control and all that sh it connected to the harness? Or can you just do the engine? That way I won't have to do any wiring. Because I always here people talk about how hard wiring is. With the 3S, for example. Since quite a few people have done it in the Celi, can't you just make a chart showing what wire from the 5s connects to what on the 3s ecu. I don't really get the whole wiring topic period. Can someone explain this to me? And if so, does anyone have a how to on how to wire a 4A-GZE. Or however that question is asked. Thanks.

i dont think people didnt reply to give you crap, its just that not everyone knows how to help you with your question

there are a lot of wires that need to be converted. its not a simple thing to just write down, because in order to do it, you have to know all the plug names, and have a basic understanding of how the harness works.

i would imagine that the 4a harness would be about as much work as the 3s harness, because you would have to rewire the fuse box and the interrior plugs. but the 4a wiring books are harder to get a hold of, the swap is less popular, and there are less people that could wire up the harness for you.

the cool thing about the 3s swap (besides the fact that its the most powerfull motor u can swap into our car smile.gif ) is that its pretty well documented and there are a few people out there who can do your harness for you for a small fee.
