Tomorrow I'm going to check out the 4A-GZE clip that I want. I've read a lot about the swap and the swap in other cars too. I have a question aboutt the wiring. How does that work? If I get the engine with an uncut harness... Would I have to rewire everything else in the car as far as the cluster and a/c control and all that sh it connected to the harness? Or can you just do the engine? That way I won't have to do any wiring. Because I always here people talk about how hard wiring is. With the 3S, for example. Since quite a few people have done it in the Celi, can't you just make a chart showing what wire from the 5s connects to what on the 3s ecu. I don't really get the whole wiring topic period. Can someone explain this to me? And if so, does anyone have a how to on how to wire a 4A-GZE. Or however that question is asked. Thanks.

Wiring is the biggest issue in these kinds of swaps. I know of only two 100% successfull gze swaps into a celica. As far as i know i am the first, i have a buddy I talk to online who recently got one into his 5th gen. There were a few folks around here workin on it but i dunno where it went to with them. Basically what it comes down to is that ur gonna need help with the wiring man, find someone who REALLY knows their **** about this engine electrically, u dont want any guessing involved. My friend with the 5th gen used the same guy as me, and he got his fired up a day or two ago. If you have questions feel free to ask, i'm not around here too much nemore so sorry about that.
