Tomorrow I'm going to check out the 4A-GZE clip that I want. I've read a lot about the swap and the swap in other cars too. I have a question aboutt the wiring. How does that work? If I get the engine with an uncut harness... Would I have to rewire everything else in the car as far as the cluster and a/c control and all that sh it connected to the harness? Or can you just do the engine? That way I won't have to do any wiring. Because I always here people talk about how hard wiring is. With the 3S, for example. Since quite a few people have done it in the Celi, can't you just make a chart showing what wire from the 5s connects to what on the 3s ecu. I don't really get the whole wiring topic period. Can someone explain this to me? And if so, does anyone have a how to on how to wire a 4A-GZE. Or however that question is asked. Thanks.

It wont bolt RIGHT up. if i can remember this right we used the front mount from the gze motor, the passenger and driver side mount from the celica, and we're gonna have the last mount welded into the frame. The driver side mount will need some modifications. I guess i really should put together a diary of everything that went wrong, maybe i'll start on that this weekend or something. If you're gonna use the e58 tranny then u'll need to have at least the driver side axle hybridized or shortened. It turns out the passenger side will work if u do it right. Make sure you buy a clip, as it turns out the axles for this bitch are a pita to get, everyone is lookin for them.
I'm trying to think of other problems that happened but they're just not coming to me. -------------------- AIM : FAQdaWorld
