Is it possible? According to the info I have read the only difference is the head. The block and internals are the same. Once again according to the numbers. Im also trying to find the right tranny to put in my 95 celica ST. Also does anyone know if a right hand car has an opposite shift pattern than left hand.

A 3S block is a 3S block. There is no major difference between a 3SFE block and a 3SGE block besides some internal components. The head will bolt up to the block more or less, but you'll have to match up pistons...
