So yes day was the best day ive had in a long long time. I woke up early, took the subway downtown to the HMV(big canadian record store). I got there are 11am and got in line to meet and get a poster signed by my fav band, HIM. Me and my buddy Josh got there at 11am, we waited in line for almost 5 hours. This is the line after about 2 hours.
That was the line behind us. and infront of us. Any ways, after waitin around for almost 5 hours, we managed to get in store. There were only 300 wrist bands given out to make sure u get in. Me and my friend were 283, last of the last. Any ways, heres some pics of instore. And the band from left to right per picture Linde(guitarist), and Ville(vocals/rock god) Miege(bassist), Linde, again(guitarist) Burton(amazingly good keyboardist) and Big Gas(drummer, and yes..his real name is gas) We waited for 5 hours to get their autographs and shake their hands, but it was sooooo worth it. Later last night we went back downtown again to a venue called the Kool Haus and saw their concert. It was Skindread(opening, they r the regee/metal band from the NFSUG2 sound track), Finch(really good hardcore punk band) and then HIM. SOooo good. They even did a cover of Poison Heart by Dee Dee Ramone. Their first time in Canada, but hopefully not their last. |

they stopped playin rebel yell for awhile and they r playin a cover of The Ramones - Poison Heart, Sooooooooooooo good. Ive heard rebel yell and poison heart, and rebel yell is abetter song, but still...sooo good. And im not unhealthy obsest, there r ppl worse off then me. The guy ahead of me n my buddy drove in from windsor(about 5 hours away). He went to the concer in detriot the day b4, bussed up from there to toronto for the next concert, then went to Montreal for their next concert and he saw them 5 times last month over in europe. So me waitin inline for 5 hours to meet them on their first Canadian Visit and goin 2 their concert, doesnt make me unhealthly obsest, it just makes me a hudge fan of the band.
