Car Racing addons/Features, converting car to racing specs Options

Trying to figure out what you would need to do to get a car ready for the race track, like what features/addons you would need.


I know weight is the biggest part of getting a car ready, so getting rid of things like car stereo system and interior moldings. I heard you need a roll cage too, so what else would I need to do to the car to get it ready for the race track

smaller gas tank
gut interior
lighter wheels
take out a/c system
take out battery (start the car then un hook it and take it out)
power steering
windshield washer fluid and wipers
perhaps make fiberglass body panels like doors and everything
audio system gone


I am sure that there is more but i cant think of anymore now
